The Takeo Dressco Onionskin Notebook Large gives Takeo’s revived KateJo paper a bigger page to work on. KateJo is onion-skin: very thin, faintly translucent, with a soft crumpled texture — the sort of sheet once chosen for airmail, when every gram counted. Here it runs to 200 pages behind a pearlescent Star Dream cover, in a book measuring 145 by 198 millimetres and just 6 millimetres thick.
Hold a page to the light and your own handwriting shows faintly through from the other side, which is part of the character of writing on something this thin rather than a fault in it. A fountain pen glides instead of biting, and the whole notebook weighs almost nothing in a bag. Choose this one when the smaller KateJo notebook keeps running out of room across the page.
What Makes It Work So Well
Please note: This is the larger-format KateJo notebook, with bigger pages but fewer of them. If you want 300 pages in a more compact book, choose the standard Onionskin Notebook.
