Hobonichi 2027 Accessories: Yumi Kitagishi – Book Band with Charm (White Cat)

We created this Book Band with Charm (White Cat) around the adorable motifs drawn by Yumi Kitagishi, an illustrator who has also been making a name for herself as a picture book author in recent years.

It is a handy item that keeps your techo or book from opening inside your bag. Made from elastic material with a hook, the band can be adjusted to fit both the A6 and A5 sizes of the Hobonichi Techo HON perfectly. At the centre of the band is a faux-leather charm decorated with an illustration of a white cat. The band also includes a pen holder that can hold two pens of different thicknesses.

Of course it is wonderful paired with Yumi Kitagishi’s techo covers, but it also adds a lovely accent to the clean, simple design of the HON. It is a useful tool whenever you want to bundle together a notebook, memo pad or book to carry with you.
